- 2. CLAY Scoop a dime sized amount of our Sea Clay & rub it between fingers into a thin paste & evenly distribute into hair.
- 3. SCRUNCH Scrunch, scrunch & keep scrunching. To accentuate curl structure & shape.
- 4. SPRAY Spray our Sea Salt Spray evenly throughout your hair & scrunch upward to build texture & volume.
- 5. SHAPE Shape into your desired style: push-back flow, surfer middle part, beachy curls, or messy fringe.

The Merman's Curling Sea Clay is specially created to shape thicker hair, waves, & curls even on the straightest of hair types. Pair it with The Merman's Sea Salt Spray and you get the full picture: soft, frizz-free waves & curls that look good all day.
How it works: Using the Curling Sea Clay alone gives you a fluffier, volumized style. Add the Sea Salt Spray to activate the volcanic bentonite clay, allowing for maximum definition, texture, and curl. Alternate small amounts of each until you find the right combo for your hair type.

All clay tins are always filled with 2oz of product. This may not fill the entire tin, as product is based off of weight and not volume.

I thought my hair was cooked and would be straight forever, but this product actually works. I was hesitant going into it, but even just the first day I got it, it added some movement and volume and made my hairstyle actually work. Does it give the curls Noah shows in the videos? Not for me. But I’m either doing it wrong or my hair is just too straight. Of course, getting your ideal hairstyle takes more than just a product, as routine and general care also have an impact. But if you have straight hair and you’re looking to add texture, volume, and movement to your hair, I 100% recommend. I’ve also tried it on longer hair (4ish inches) and shorter (2.5ish inches) and even after a haircut it worked great!

I have a full head of very fine, somewhat lifeless hair. The clay gives me instant fullness and thickness. And I can definitely coax some waves and even curls out of it. The Sea Spray is the best I’ve ever used, by a very very big margin! It actually makes my hair feel like I’ve been at the beach all day (and I’m a surfer, so I know that feeling well). I am a hair products junkie and have tried the majority of options out there. The Clay is the most unique hair paste I’ve tried. It requires a little water on the palm to get it to a workable consistency. But once I’ve worked it into the hair, the transformation is instantaneous. I often use the spray on its own, just to give me a little casual texture. I’m absolutely hooked on these products. Well done!
